For this project, we were challenged to create a piece of furniture that combined two ideas or functions, a portmanteau. I chose to go with a humorous, whimsical design and create a something with a form resembling a chair, but for a drink. through two iterations, one using hand cut wood pieces, and one using the cnc machine, I brought this idea to fruition.
